Beautifully handcrafted sculplture in terracotta, painted with engobes following ancient techniques.
This work of art reproduces a woman's head decorating an ancient Italian vase found in Canosa, which dates back to IV – III century b.C. and is now preserved in Bari, Museo Archeologico. The complex star-shape hairstyling gives this ancient portrait a special elegant touch.
Given its firing at about 1000° C, the sculpture can be placed outside and won't be damaged by sun, cold or ice.
