This little, richly detailed sculpture is handmade modelled, painted and gilded. It depicts a beautiful sitting Lion holding a shield with the Bavarian flag.
The bas-relief is inspired by one of the four baroque bronze lions in front of the Residenz, Munich (XVII century).
Due to ist gilding, this bas-relief should not be hung outside, unless very carefully protected from rain and snow.
