Superb, handmade scuplture in terracotta, painted with engobes and modeled following ancient and traditional techniques.
This elegant bas-relief is taken from a lost Venetian Gothic sculpture, later reproduced in terracotta (19th century). Our Lady is represented while sitting on the throne, holding Jesus Child on her chest, while He blesses the believer.
Given its firing at about 1000° C, this Ithaca's sculpture can be placed outside and won't be damaged by sun, cold or ice.
