Elegante, handgefertigte Skulptur aus Terrakotta, mit Engoben bemalt und mit der Darstellung des Löwen von San Marco in „Moeca“.
Im venezianischen Dialekt bedeutet „Moeca“ „Krabbe“: Tatsächlich scheint der venezianische Löwe, von dem man sagt, er sei „in Moeca“, seine Flügel auszubreiten, wie eine Krabbe ihre Scheren ausstreckt.
Diese Skulptur aus Terrakotta, die bei etwa 1000 °C gebrannt wurde, kann im Freien aufgestellt werden und wird weder durch Sonne, Kälte noch Frost beschädigt.
