Exquisite handmade sculpture in ceramic, painted with glazes and modeled following traditional techniques.
In this most graceful bas-relief, taken from a Venetian 16th century sculpture, Our Lady and Jesus are depicted in a natural and intimate embrace. Infact, Maria is breastfeeding the Child, thus following the Byzantine Galaktotrophousa iconography.
Given its double firing at about 1000° C, the sculpture can be placed outside and won't be damaged by sun, cold or ice.
