Wonderfully handcrafted sculpture in terracotta, richly painted with engobes following the ancient techniques.
This relief is inspired by an antefix excavated at Veii, an Etrurian city near the Tiber.
Today, the original piece, which dates back to 525-500 B.C., is preserved in Rome, Museo di Villa Giulia.
Given its high-temperature firing (1000° C), the sculpture can be placed outside and won't be damaged by sun, cold or ice.
