Beautiful, handmade bas-relief in painted and gilded ceramic.
It is freely inspired by the bronze Angel of Saint Matthew, modeled by the famous Early Renaissance artist Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi, better known as Donatello. Padua, Basilica di S.Antonio, mid-15th century.
Due to ist gilding, this bas-relief should not be hung outside, unless very carefully protected from rain and snow.
