The beautiful San Marco urn, inspired by the rose window that illuminates the transept of the Basilica of San Marco in Venice, takes us back to the world of medieval cathedrals and the mystical role of light as a manifestation of divine love on earth. The geometric play of the central inlay of the San Marco urn also reminds us of the meaning of the number eight, present in the petals of the central flower. Symbol of infinity and eternity, this number has been used for centuries to represent rebirth to a new life.
Technical qualities:
Refined ceramic urn, completely handmade and painted with glazes through a second firing at a temperature exceeding 1000 degrees Celsius. The dimensions of the urn provide an internal volume of more than three liters, making it suitable for housing a body weighing up to 90 kg/198 lb.
